This special mat will make sure that you’ll never sleep in again. Designed by Winson Tam and a team of entrepreneurs based in Vancouver and Hong Kong, the “Ruggie” is a pressure sensitive alarm-clock that forces you to get out of bed. The alarm, which has no snooze option, requires that you stand on it with both feet for three seconds
Winson Tam invented the Ruggie because of his own experience of “over snoozing.” Every morning was a struggle: the warm comfy bed, the cold floors, that desire to keep dreaming. So Tam created Ruggie to help himself and others get out of bed easier and be more productive.
You can pick one up from kickstarter for 59 USD; the Ruggie will retail for 99 USD at launch.
