After 50 years apart, Janice Rude and Prentiss Willson finally reunite for the marriage they never had.
Janice and Prentiss met at Occidental College in Los Angeles where Rude had been working the breakfast shift. Willson would make a point to show up every morning at 6 am just to have a short chat with the girl.
When Willson didn't show up to the school's pre-Thanksgiving dinner, Rude found out where he lived and drove herself the whole 150 miles to Santa Monica. She knocked on the door and had a lovely exchange with the Willsons.
Shortly after, they announced their engagement in a local paper with the words, "No date has been set for the wedding."
