Never one to change their lifestyle because they’re making bank on reality TV, ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo‘ matriarch Mama June got married this weekend in redneck style. And by that we mean “in a camouflage wedding dress with bright orange accents and rainbow colored flowers.”
After meeting in an online chatroom nine years ago, June and her very own Sugar Bear finally tied the knot on May 5 in a backyard ceremony.
For her parents’ wedding, Alana Thompson (the erstwhile Boo herself) wore a bright pink and orange tiered and rhinestone-studded floor-length gown — straight out of a glitz pageant, of course.
Invites for the nuptials warned guests that “no cell phones, cameras, or outside video taping” would be allowed since the ceremony was being filmed by TLC. Workers at the event were also asked to wear “full redneck attire.”
The new season of ‘Honey Boo Boo’ will air on July 17 on TLC. Aka the “what could you possibly be learning?” channel.
