Google Offers $20 Million to a Private Company That Can Land a Robot on The Moon (7 photo)

Google has offered a $20 million prize to the first private company to land a robot on the Moon. It must explore at least 500m from its landing spot, and it has to happen before 2015. The are runner up prizes and bonus prizes for travelinglonger distances, finding water or locating any traces of previous expeditions to the Moon. There are currently more than 25 private companies vying for the prize. Gotta love Google.
