Damian Lillard has put up big numbers all year and is basically guaranteed to win rookie of the year. Lets take a look at some of the other rookies around the NBA and see who else is preforming at a high level.
Lets See Which Rookies make the list.
Moe Harkless, Orlando Magic - Harkless has excellent instincts inside, showing a soft touch and the ability to finish around defenders
Harrison Barnes, Golden State Warriors - Barnes has been having issues with consistency, just like he did as a freshman and sophomore at North Carolina. Figuring out how to generate easier scoring opportunities will allow him to put up double-digit points on a regular basis.
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Charlotte Bobcats - He Has been a streaky player who has put up big numbers but unfortunately followed them up with games where he gets lost in the mix.
Andre Drummond, Detroit Pistons - Before going down with a back injury, Andre Drummond was sporting an astounding 22.37 PER, making his presence felt on both sides of the ball for every minute of time he was given.
Dion Waiters, Cleveland Cavaliers - Dion Waiters had really started to get going before missing a couple of games with an illness. Overall he has been a really steady player.
Bradley Beal, Washington Wizards - He's got his scoring average up to an impressive 14.2 points per game on 37.9 percent shooting from downtown.
Anthony Davis, New Orleans Hornets - He's still a raw product at this point in his career. He's got such a diverse offensive arsenal that when he can start converting shots with consistency, he is likely to be one of the tougher overall covers in the entire NBA.
Damian Lillard, Portland Trail Blazers - Portland found a star point guard six picks into the 2012 NBA draft. Props go out to the scouting team that coveted him, who overlooked the mid-major question marks and took the best player on the board.
