Paris is recognised throughout Europe and most of the world, as a city famous for love and it’s passion for art and theatre. So what better place for gifted photographer Franck Bohbot to create his series ‘Theaters’. In it he takes you deep inside some of the most majestic and opulent theatres and galleries in Paris, to admire their beautiful designs and architecture. It’s a sight few if any get to see. Normally each theatre is awash with the movement & endless chatter of hundreds of patrons or plunged into total darkness during a performance. Frank’s imagines, are as beautiful as they are unique – it’s not everyday you have an entire Parisian theatre all to yourself.

But Nantes, the 6th largest city in France has an entirely different proposition to lure tourists to their region. Tucked inside several warehouses that were formerly used as shipyards, sits an exhibition titled ‘Machines of the Isle‘ (or if you’re a local Les Machines de l’Île de Nantes) that will genuinely blow your mind.
