We’ve all heard about the mind-boggling events happening in Syria over the last 10 years. The rebels and the army advancing on each other’s positions. The terrorist attacks. The airstrikes. The millions of refugees escaping the country whatever way they can. The destroyed cities and much more. For years that was all, it was – thoughts. However, recently I finally got the chance to get inside of Syria and see it all first hand.

Parents with Down Syndrome are just as loving as any other parents. That’s the lesson we can all learn after hearing a Syrian student’s tale about his father.
Sader Issa, who studies dentistry in Syria, shared the story of how he was raised by his dad Jad who has Down Syndrome. According to Jad’s son, his dad showered him with love and did the best that he could to make his childhood the same as any kid’s.

Parents with Down Syndrome are just as loving as any other parents. That’s the lesson we can all learn after hearing a Syrian student’s tale about his father.

Among what is probably many important things they were forced to leave behind, many cats now roam the town without anyone to look after them. The United States relationship with the Middle East has been...rocky, to say the least. The situation has become so complex, that by now, if you are not a History or Political Science major, it's more than likely you'll get confused or mislead (especially if you are an avid FOX news reader, then it gets really confusing. In an attempt to help ameliorate any anxiety over what is going on currently with Syria --since I'm sure you've all read/seen/heard things over the media, I'm going to consolidate all the information I can gather about the subject, and walk you through what been going on.
