Farmers in Japan get creative with their rice paddies by turning them into wonderful living murals—both traditional and contemporary. What's even more amazing about this art form known as "tanbo art" is that absolutely no dyes are used. Instead, different strains of rice are planted to create the different colors. These are the remarkable results after several months of careful planning, sowing, and patiently waiting.
