Dutch artist and designer Daan Roosegaarde has created a beautiful and innovative glowing bike path that, when illuminated at night by glowing pebbles and LEDs, looks like Van Gogh’s famous Starry Night painting. The kilometer-long bike path, which was created using both glow-in-the-dark technology and solar-powered LEDs, is located in Brabant, the Dutch county where Van Gogh was born and raised. The swirling, glowing forms on the path’s surface will help bicyclists stay on track when they ride at night.

Artist and cycling enthusiast Thomas Yang has developed a series of art prints for his ongoing 100copies project that not only take inspiration from his passion for bike riding but are actually created with the tire of a bicycle. The Singapore-based creative director explores the unconventional use of a tire as his paintbrush as he dips it in ink and carefully rolls the textured wheel over his canvas. Yang has used the tracks to create brilliantly textured illustrations of four of the world's most iconic monuments—New York's Empire State Building, Paris's Eiffel Tower, London's Tower Bridge, and Beijing's Forbidden City.
