The Krishna’s Butter Ball or Vaanirai Kal (Stone of the Sky God), as it is known to locals, has been sitting on a 45-degree slope in Mahabalipuram for over 1,300 years. The 20ft rock appears to defy gravity, looking like it's going to roll at any moment - and all attempts to move it have been in vain.

Nestled within a rock fall field on the Swiss alps sits Antoine, a cabin that resembles a large boulder. It was designed by the studio Bureau A, and the cozy interior space features some of the basics: a bed, fold-out table, stool, fireplace, and windows. But, just looking at the outside, you’d never know to go in because it’s perfectly camouflaged among the surrounding environment.

A Car Nearly Crushed by a Huge Boulder in a Landslide in Taiwan

Last week a car traveling along a rainswept road in Taiwan was struck by a landslide and nearly crushed by a massive boulder in this astonishing dashcam video captured by fellow motorist Lai Hong-Wei. If you watch the top of the hill at the 0:03 mark you can see the boulder begin to fall down the hillside. According to Lai, the driver and passenger escaped with only minor injuries.
