I am one of those people who have been greatly blessed by growing up with a sister who had Down Syndrome. Dina was the best thing that could have ever happened to our family. She taught us what true unconditional love is and how to go through life without worries. Ever since I started doing photography, I’ve always had the desire to photograph kids with Down Syndrome. I chose to do this photo shoot not only for my own pleasure but to help raise awareness about Down Syndrome.

I started this series back on March 21st (National Down Syndrome Day) of this year as a way to illustrate the joy my son (Wil) has brought to our family.
