My mom had always wanted for me and my brother to recreate photos from our childhood. So we decided to spend one freezing February afternoon recreating 9 photos that she had proudly displayed throughout the house. We printed them onto a large canvas and surprised her with them at her 50th birthday party in front of all the family and friends. If you get a chance to do something similar – do it!

Vincent Flouret, a French fashion photographer from Paris, has been working on a project recently that is very close to his heart; it features his beloved dog, 6-year-old Max. Vincent and Max have recreated iconic music video scenes and album covers by Madonna, in a project he has called “Maxdonna.” The money collected from the sold prints of “Maxdonna” will be donated to Madonna’s charity Raising Malawi.
