As ghosts and goblins prepare to roam the streets on October 31, one makeup artist is dedicating her energy to creating some extravagant faces that will accompany the most elaborate Halloween costumes. With a background in art and design, Angie Starling has traded her paint brush for a makeup brush to design perfectly plastered visages with exaggerated features and gruesome like details.
With the spooky holiday just around the corner, Starling, whose stage name is Goldie Starling, has revealed how even the amateur can apply her techniques to create these stunning looks.
Starling, who lives in Winston-Salem North, Carolina, is calling her portfolio of elaborate Halloween faces 'a labor of love.' She design at art school and had applied her creativity to a number of mediums including painting, sculpting, baking, decorating cakes.
But she told the StyleList beauty blog that she developed her love of beauty in the twenties and has thrown her creative talent into working as a makeup artist.
