Jack Nicholson Announces Retirement at Age 76 (1 photo)

We really can’t handle the truth: Hollywood legend Jack Nicholson is retiring from acting. Nicholson, 76, quietly stepped down from a 50-year career. “Jack has — without fanfare — retired,” an insider told Radar Online. The rationale behind his decision has to do with his aging. “There is a simple reason behind his decision — it’s memory loss. Quite frankly, at 76, Jack has memory issues and can no longer remember the lines being asked of him,” the source revealed. “His memory isn’t what it used to be.” Nicholson, who was nominated for a record 12 Academy Awards for acting (winning three), will continue enjoying the spotlight — just not starring in it. “Jack has no intention of retiring from the limelight,” the source said, noting the Oscar winner’s regular courtside Lakers games and Academy Award presentation with First Lady Michelle Obama in February. “He’s not retiring from public life, at all. He just doesn’t want a tribute,” the source said. “He’s happy to tacitly join the retirees club like Sean Connery.” We’ll miss you, Jack!

AMC’s hit show ‘Breaking Bad’ is drawing to a close. Perhaps to the dismay of some selfish fans out there, ‘Breaking Bad’ creator Vince Gilligan correctly refused to produce integrity-killing plotlines (i.e. like how Pam and Jim get married on ‘The Office’) to further line his pockets with more dough. Here's a great video from PBS that features Tom Hiddleston teaching Cookie Monster a lesson about self-control. Maybe waving a cookie in front of Cookie Monster's face isn't the best way to start this lesson out. Like a true villain, Hiddleston just sits there teasing him with a cookie the whole time, but good things come to those who wait. Well... that's what I heard!

The first Grindhouse style film was ridiculously over the top, and this looks like it's going to be even more insane! I'm sure it will be awesomely entertaining. “See Iron Man how you’ve never wanted to see him before. Insecure, anxious, and paralyzed with fear.” The gang over at Screen Junkies set their sights on Iron Man 3, and they brutally tear it apart. If you didn't like Iron Man 3, then I'm sure this honest trailer will make you hate it even more. I enjoyed the movie, but they do hit on some really solid points of ridiculousness.

NINJA TURTLE Designs with More Traditional Ninja Armor (5 photo)

Here are a couple of great concept designs from artist Danny Mora that feature Michelangelo and Leonardo brandishing more traditional ninja weapons and armor. We have yet to see what the Turtles will look like in Jonathan Liebesman's new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. If they look like something along these lines, I will be very pleased. I think armor and clothing would give some nice weight to the CG characters. I'd much rather see some progressively scuffed up clothing than pristine turtle skin the entire movie. Particularly in the Michelangelo design, you can also see that there's this romantic quality the flowing fabric adds to the piece -- much like Batman's cape in the comics and the Nolan films. Despite its three-and-a-half star rating on Yelp, Sava! Italiano was not a success. The Amarillo, TX-based Italian restaurant recently shut down, according to a closure notice outside the building, which reads in full: "You sorry assed, rednecked sacks of goat sperm had no idea what you had here! Good luck with your pre-packaged frozen shit food in this town. Maybe you’ll remember us when you’re boning your sister and think she smells like pasta. We are off to make money in a town whose average IQ is above room temperature! CIAO!!!"

Breaking Bad Re-Cut As A Romantic Comedy Between Walt And Jesse (1 photo + 1 video)

Is this the best serious TV drama re-cut into a man-on-man romantic comedy YouTube video I’ve ever seen? No. No it’s not. I’m pretty sure there was one that involved Jack and Sawyer with some sort of Romancing the Stone element to it. Can’t remember all the details at the moment. I guess what I’m trying to say is that while this “Breaking Bad as a Romantic Comedy” mashup is far from internet perfection, it does make for some decent lighthearted Friday afternoon fodder as we all anxiously await the next installment of Breaking Bad’s final episodes.
