Mattsun is a Japanese latte artist from Osaka and currently living and working in Tokyo. Mattsun drew his first latte art in 2009 while working at an Italian restaurant. Since then he has drawn over 500 different latte artworks and even showcased his work at the 2012 ‘Blue Sky Latte Art’ exhibit in Dotonbori, Osaka.

Mattsun is a Japanese latte artist from Osaka and currently living and working in Tokyo. Mattsun drew his first latte art in 2009 while working at an Italian restaurant.

You’re probably familiar with the phrase “One man’s trash is another man’s gold” and there’s few better examples of that than the work of visual artist Francisco de Pajaro. Much like Clet Abraham who has fun hijacking Europe’s street signs, Francisco likes to bring a bit of life, vitality and humour to our sterile urban environments. In a recently interview with James Buxton of Global Street Art he stated that:

If you haven’t already guessed, we’re big fans of portrait art here on SBSG, but we have to admit it’s not every day you see artwork painted using merely a basketball!But that’s precisely the tool Malaysian artist Hong Yi used to create her portrayal of Chinese basketball player Yao Ming. Below is a time-lapse video of her bouncing the ball and bringing her creation to life using nothing more than red paint.Quite how she achieved such an impressive feat is still somewhat of a mystery, but...
