You hear a lot of talk in tech / agency land about the rise and fall of social networks. New ones emerging, older ones fading in obscurity, startups with millions of members in a matter of days – but really when you cut through all the buzzwords and hype, what really IS the current state of social networking?
Have we hit saturation point? Are we all totally overwhelmed with having to update our status across 3 different networks? Have we collectively gravitated to one social network for all our needs? Do we continue to use different networks to express a different aspect of our lives?
