We already know that São Paulo in Brazil is a city that loves to embrace art and colour and now they’ve launched a new artistic campaign in the streets targeting pay phones.
100 Unique artists were assigned 100 phone booths and each given the task of creating a design for each, not just the outside shell but inside as well. Totally free reign to conjour up whatever creations they wished. The project is titled “Call Parade” and interestingly enough was sponsored and funded by their phone carrier Vivo.
It’s great to see big companies supporting local talent and making the city itself a more virbant and creative hub. Heck, it even makes us WANT to use a pay phone again!
