Turkish Protesters Deliver a Rousing ‘Les Miserables’ Performance

Anti-government protesters in Turkey are looking for some Academy Award-sized help in their fight.

The Occupy Gezi movement recently laid out their case by singing the song ‘Do You Hear the People Sing?’ from the Oscar-winning movie ‘Les Miserables.’ The video has quickly become an internet sensation and even caught the attention of one of the film’s stars, Russell Crowe, who, ironically, played a villainous police officer in the movie.
Crowe urged everyone to remain safe when he took to his Twitter account to address the situation:
