“Sometimes kids get sick, and then their hair falls out. That’s really, really sad. I don’t want any kids to be sad that they have no hair. What I wanna do is give them my hair. Because I have long hair, just cut some of it off.”
Little Emily James had beautiful, long hair- especially for a three-year-old. One day, Emily’s parents suggested to her that she donate her hair to make wigs for kid’s with cancer.
Emily’s parents showed her pictures online of children without hair, wigs, and shorter style haircuts. After all that, she was ready to donate her hair. She just had one condition- her Dolly had to get her hair cut first.
“What an incredible lesson to learn from a 3-year-old, when we have lots of something- don’t hold onto it, give it away to someone else who needs it more,” said Emily’s parents, who also made the short film.
