Patrick Acton has spent over 30 years working on a variety of models made using matchsticks. According to the Matchstick Marvels website, he has glued together over 3.5 million matchsticks into 60 pieces that include scale models of battleships to replicas of some of the worlds great architectural wonders.

DC and Marvel have been making comics in some form since the 1930s. It wasn't until the 60s that they idea to put a super on the big screen came to fruition with Batman. While DC pioneered the move, Marvel began it's retort and since has become a force in the film industry. This infographic shows how the battle at the box office has fared for the two factions.
