Street artist Okuda San Miguel is well known for his strikingly colorful and geometrically inspired street art, but his graffiti on this old abandoned church in Morocco might be some of his best work yet. If Okuda's graffiti style looks familiar, you might remember him as the same artist from the story we shared last year about the 100-year-old Spanish church converted into a skate park and then covered in graffiti.
San Miguel is at it again, transforming yet another old church into a truly incredibly sight. This abandoned church located in Youssoufia, Morocco needed a fresh coat of paint, but San Miguel gave the walls something far more exciting than your typical paint job.
The Madrid-based artist calls the Moroccan church project "11 Mirages To The Freedom." He used his characteristically bright style full of complicated geometric shapes to create a whirlwind of colorful scenery on every inch of the church.
The closer you look the more striking details you will notice, for instance, the stars in the animals' eyes or how windows are used to symbolize human heads, and birdcages.
