Physician Martin Couney, dubbed 'the incubator doctor', held a sideshow that displayed a genuine life and death struggle of tiny babies. The infant incubator facility on Coney Island was dubbed 'All the World Loves a Baby' and ran from 1903 to 1943. Punters would pay 25 cents to look at the babies - this funded the expensive care they needed.
