She’s put together a magnificent video aptly titled “Made In Iceland” showcasing the true beauty and sheer wonder of one of the coldest regions in the world. Shot using a Canon 550D with a Tamron 10-24mm f3.5-4.5 & Nikorr 35mm f2. Once famous for being the home of Björk, maybe now Iceland will also be noted for producing one of the next generation of independent film makers in Klara Harden. Video At The Bottom!

If you like AT&T’s new ad campaign explaining how uncomplicated things are, perhaps you’d also like to watch the web series that inspired them. Turns out the ads, which feature cute kids just being kids opposite straight man Beck Bennett, is based on Bennett’s hit YouTube series ‘Fresh Perspectives.’ The show is the same gist as the commercials, only instead of phone reception and browser speed, they’re discussing newsworthy issues like the presidential election and health care reform. Check out some of our favorite ‘Fresh Perspectives’ videos below. (You can see all the videos here.) What other YouTube series could be turned into commercials?
On Friday March 22nd , the level of snowfall in Ukraine was recorded as the highest in over a century during a month that should traditionally mark the start of spring! People took to the streets to photograph the strange occurrence.

I have gone through each and every one of those tweets (no not really) to bring you the Dumbest Tweets. Sure, I may have lost all feeling in the left side of my body, but it was worth it! On a hot summer day, it's quite typical to see people making sandcastles along the shores of sandy beaches. Whether the constructions are large or small, simple or complex, this fun pastime is something that many beachgoers enjoy. Sculptor Calvin Seibert is someone who has taken this simple activity to a whole new level. He considers building sandcastles as "a bit of a test. Nature will always be against you and time is always running out."
If you’re looking for a thorough explanation of what the purpose of Vine, Twitter’s new video app, is (other than some quick porn) then you might need to look elsewhere. But if you’re looking for a good laugh please continue! Former MADtv cast member Will Sasso appears to be jumping up the online popularity ladder with his new (and bizarre) compilation of Vine videos — the app that allows users to share six-second videos via Twitter. In several clips, Sasso ejects full lemons from his mouth around watching some TV, making almond milk and rocking out to Taylor Swift. So while this doesn’t explain Vine’s purpose, it’s might make us a little less curious and much more entertained.
Sure, sure — we know Jimmy Fallon is taking the ‘Tonight Show’ reigns, but we humbly suggest these other dudes for consideration. It would be like Leno never left. Or at least a lisping, high-pitched man would still be in charge. Granted some of these are obviously not going to happen (Jim Carrey, David Letterman), but we bet Ben, the guy who can sort of read instant oatmeal directions like Leno, would jump at the opportunity. Here they are, 10 Leno impressionists for your consideration.
Now that March Madness is getting into full swing, it’s time to bring out the fails, y’all! We’ve already covered mascots, so this time around we’re spotlighting awful slam dunk attempts. As far as we’re concerned, failing is a good thing. Although those involved probably disagree, screwing up makes for YouTube hilarity, especially when it comes to totally missing a basketball dunk. There’s nothing said dunker can do in this situation to casually recover, because the result is usually a faceplant or some other form of painful entertainment. Ouch. But luckily for us, it’s really funny stuff. See what we mean below!
Stockholm-based art director Petter Johansson designed a delectable display of geometric foods for Swedish food lab Atelier Food. The meats, cheeses, breads, and veggies are all seated atop a grid board, playfully drawing a resemblance to an architectural blueprint. The edible edifices are both diced to geometric perfection and left untouched as their very own innovative design structures.
Hamilton Pool Preserve is a natural pool that was created when the dome of an underground river collapsed due to massive erosion thousands of years ago. The pool is surrounded by huge slabs of limestone that rest by the water's edge; large stalactites grow from the ceiling high above. Hamilton Creek spills out over limestone outcroppings to create a 50 foot waterfall as it plunges into the head of a steep box canyon. The waterfall never completely dries up, but in dry times it does slow to a trickle. However, the pool's water level stays pretty constant, even during periods of drought.
Animal rights activists from the group “Animal Equality” staged a demonstration in Barcelona, Spain, in front of the Cathedral of Barcelona, during “Day Without Meat” event on March 20, 2013. Demonstrators simulated raw meat packaging found in supermarkets, by covering human models with fake blood and plastic sheets, in an attempt to raise awareness and move people to stop eating meat.
Sadly, we don’t have more opportunities to scream “Kabooyow! Kabooyow!” in our everyday life. But we *want* to say it all the time now, thanks to Michelle Clark and this news interview she did. Maybe we’ll start making excuses to say “kabooyow!” to make sure it catches on. Push an button on the elevator, scream “kabooyow.” Set down your fork at a restaurant — “kabooyow!” Successfully reorganize your needlepoint thread … KABOOYOW!” It’s so crazy, it just might workabooyow!!!
Popular subreddit Explain Like I’m Five finally has their own webseries. The subreddit describes itself as “An inclusive place to ask questions and get simple, layman-friendly answers, without fear of judgement.” In the videos, the concepts are being explained to actual five-year-olds, and although it’s not as informative as a typical ELI5 response, it is certainly more adorable.
Paris-based Swiss artist Felice Varini's paintings are the kind that have one vantage point from which its completed form can be viewed in its fluid entirety. The artist's vast portfolio of anamorphic illusions presents a variety of urban paintings, both indoors and outdoors. His large-scale creations are geometric in their composition and redefine each three-dimensional space they are applied to in such a way that one questions their own vision.
In the series by photographer Magdalena Bors, entitled The Seventh Day, each photograph features a single person set within a chaotic and surreal domestic space. Bors constructs the bizarre environments as a visual connection between ourselves and the natural world, saying, "I am fascinated by the simultaneous strength and fragility of this connection as we go about our lives, spending most of our time within the confines of the small compartments we call home."
This is the terrifying moment the crew of a $1million speedboat were nearly killed after they were catapulted 40ft into the air by a huge wave. The driver was apparently showing off to friends and took the 35ft Donzi powerboat out in rough seas. As he approached the 20ft high rolling wave he hit the accelerator to try and ramp over it.
