The Mata Mata freshwater turtle.
The Hagfish looks kind of like a giant intestine. It dates back to prehistoric times, so no wonder, I guess (330 million years). They can grow up to 18 inches long and is a fish, not an eel.
The Star Nosed Mole. Found in lowland North America and parts of Canada, this ugly bugger likes to tunnel through frozen rivers or paddle through ice covered streams hunting to worms and other nasty insects.
The Sloth (duh). This creature moves so slowly, its fur accumulates mold.
The Axoloti is the Mexican salamander.
It has no eyelids and all kinds of weird half-developed tentacles sticking out of its head.
They only eat every two or three days, they live in the water (weird, considering they have fingers), and its legs grow back if they get bitten off.

The Aye-Aye of Madagascar is so ugly, there's even legend that it brings destructive powers. Yikes!
