This breed of dogs simply look funny. They are a little slow, and they don't seem to have normal brain function. That's why this post is about derpy pugs gone wild.

Reports of a baby lion prowling the streets of Norfolk, Virginia were put to and end when the animal in question turned out to be a 3 year-old Labradoodle. The 911 caller gushed about a lion searching the streets for food. After calling the local zoo to confirm that both lions were in their pen, police went to the scene only to find a confused looking Labradoodle with the haircut of a mascot of Norfolk's Old Dominion University. Meet "Charles the Monarch," a friendly mut often spotted at ODU tailgates.

Do you remember the Pipeline Fish Tank we listed in the collection of the most unusual and creative aquariums? This cat transit system is based on exactly the same idea, but this time it’s dedicated for our feline friends. Architecture firm Because We Can, led by interior designer Jillian Northrup and her husband architect Jeffrey McGrew, had to turn an under utilized room in a private residence into a highly functional and inspirational place to work from home. Besides turning the room into a splendid mad science lair, they also made what Northrup calls “the fist step to greater cat mobility throughout the room”.

There’s one thing you keep thinking while going through Art Wolfe’s animal camouflage photographs: how on earth did he spot them himself? The amazing “Vanishing Act” project gives you the feeling that there’s no human presence in the photos whatsoever, as the Washington-based artist captures real-life animal camouflage skills. Art, aged 61, started this project back in 1989 and published it in 2005, but still finds things to add to it: “This collection has been a long time in the making,” he says, “I’m still adding to the project even now.”

The cat was equipped with many tools, such as drills, small saws, a cellphone, a battery and earphones, all of which could be used to form an escape. The ownership of the cat is in question.

Evan is a truly remarkable kid. His love of cats started well before the age of 7, but it was at that age that his mission truly took form. Little Evan adopted his very first kitty, Macha, from City Kitties rescue in Philadelphia (he has two more now!), he wanted to find a way to continue to help the cats they were rescuing, so he came up with a plan. He collected his allowance for weeks on end, only to donate it to the cause of rescuing kitties and helping them cope. His first donation totaled at $46.75. Not bad for a first grader.

Pooches are the best at cuddling. They're so good at it and that they even cuddle together, with cats, pilow, people, whatever keeps them and their fellow snoozer warm. These little angels are so cute sleeping.

While the rest of the world is frozen cold, Australia has been suffering some serious heat. The animals have been having a hard time too. Watch them get some delicious frozen treats. :)

There is a reason why they are man's best friend. It's because humans specifically bread them to be our bestest friends for everrrr!!!!

The Suriname toad or star-fingered toad (Spanish: aparo, rana comun de celdillas, rana tablacha, sapo chinelo, sapo chola, or sapo de celdas) (Pipa pipa) is a species of frog in the Pipidae family.

For some it may look as a romantic spectacle of nature, others associate it with a horror movie scene, while for street sweepers it just means a lot of crap to clean. These “living clouds” created by thousands of starlings flying together has acquired a term “murmuration.” The way they all suddenly change direction or speed still remains the secret of nature, but there are theories to support both the scientific and the supernatural side of it. Some say that the coordination of flocks that vary from 100 to 4000 birds is beyond biology. No matter the size of the flock, it remains unclear how the birds all respond to the same command instantly as if they were a single entity. Others, however, claim that the underlying maths is comparatively straightforward – birds just try to stick close to each other for safety reasons. That way, they also instantly copy any changes in the movement of those next to them. If one bird changes its direction, others do the same, creating a magnificent rippling effect. No matter what, it’s a magical sight! It occurs in February and November, so check out the sky every once in a while!

Nomura - A giant ocean jellyfish over two meters in diameter and weighing up to 300 pounds, has again attacked the coast of Japan. Such invasions of invertebrates have before deeply damaged the fishing industry of the country. The jellyfish not only damage the fishing networks, they also ruin the fish themselves by striking them with their poisonous tentacles and making the fish inedible.
