October is a month nationally dedicated to "stomping out" bullying, and the end is nigh. We have some amazing artists and their songs to help you feel confident.
Also, these are ranked in order- most inspiring/my favourite first.
Lady Gaga's "Born This Way"
The Mother Monster is here to remind that “there’s nothing wrong with loving who you are” because — black, white, gay, straight, chola or subway kid — you are beautiful because you were born that way.

P!nk's "F***in' Perfect"
“You can’t move mountains by whispering at them,” wrote P!nk, in the release for this video. “I support the kids out there that feel so desperate/numb/powerless, that feel unseen and unheard, and can’t see another way.. I want them to know I’m aware. I have been there. I see them. Sometimes that’s all it takes.”
Demi Lovato's "Skyscraper"
If anyone knows what it's like to be bullied, it's this chick. Recently recovered from an eating disorder, Demi Lovato has a powerful voice, both musically and otherwise. Props to this chick for standing tall.
Katy Perry's "Firework"
This song tends to make my eyes water. Just a little. Perry recently performed this song as a duet with a young, autistic fan for Comedy Central’s Night Of Too Many Stars, and we will never be able to hear it the same again.
Christina Aguilera's "Beautiful"
No matter what they say, don't let their words bring you down.
TLC's "Unpretty"
This song's a bit outdated when you put it up with the rest of this list, but the message remains the same: Pretty on the inside is pretty on the outside. If you're a good human being, then you are absolutely beautiful. Don't bring yourself down to their level.
Taylor Swift's "Mean"
This song just barely makes the list, with Ms. Swift being somewhat of a bully herself, having slut-shaming ideals and outdated attachment to the Madonna/Whore dichotomy. But the girl has a point in this particular song, and I've lived by it for a while now: “Someday I’ll be big enough so you can’t hit me, and all you’re ever going to be is mean.”
