According to a report from Dailymail on Dec 11, 2012, billions of Facebook users were locked out of the social network site because of technical glitch just hours after Google crashed. Coincidence or something more?
Google released a statement saying: 'We are currently experiencing an issue with some Google services. For everyone who is affected, we apologize for any inconvenience you may be experiencing. We will be posting updates to the Apps Status Dashboard.'
'Earlier today we made a change to our DNS infrastructure and that change resulted in some people being temporarily unable to reach the site,' was Zuckerberg's statement on the issue.
The problem was detected and the site is now fully back.
