It's sad that some countries are in such poor condition. But meanwhile the governments aren't doing their jobs, and the communities are in chaos, you're well advised to NOT ever visit these places if you want to stay well and alive!
#1 South Africa. It's dubbed as the "Rape capital of the world", as well as having the highest homicide rates in the world. Armed guards are often seen protecting the wealthier tourist groups.
#2 Brazil. The gap between rich and poor is very wide in this country, and poverty is high. Tourists often become mugging targets, especially on the streets of Sao Paolo and Rio de Janeiro.
#3 Colombia. This is the worlds kidnapping capital, and don't forget the 75% supply of the worlds cocaine. There are continuous wars against government, and multiple murders. Nobody is safe in this truly lawless country.
#4 Russia. Here's another lawless country, thought to be run by vandals and gangsters. There's not enough police to keep order in mother Russia. "One Russian is assassinated every 18 minutes, averaging 84 murders per day in a nation of 143 million". ( Tony Leather) Foreigners are often kidnapped and robbed. If you ever visit always stay on guard!
