The frantic nature of the working week often doesn’t allow you the time to truly experience those quieter moments, those rare occasions where you’re able to reflect on our own personal development and growth. Bad habits form, routines become harder to break and in the end, you can potentially become drained and burnt out – emotionally, physically and mentally.
So... keep a couple of things in mind, through out your work week and perhaps you'll have a more peaceful mind.
Work out at least 30 mins a day
Especially if you don’t do much movement while working, it’s essential that you get some daily exercise. 30 minutes every day are the minimum recommended for optimal health.
Eat Breakfast
You'd be surprised how many people skip this one task. And you'd also be surprised how many people need to be reminded of this every day. Common people, I'm not your mother. Just eat something in the morning.
Sleep 8 Hours
Again, I'm not your mother, you're an adult. This task is just as important as all of your work tasks.
Avoid Snacks
Use an inbox system
Read 1 book a week
Make Fast Decisions
Think Positively.
Negative thoughts can be your worst downfall. As soon as you get stressed, your problems seem to compile faster.
Check Your e-mail twice a day
Addictions reduce productivity, and increase stress.
Clean your desk and your room
Brings you a peace of mind, and clear space for you to think and be more efficient.
