Mio Fit’s Super Bowl commercial features Tracy Morgan advocating the American knack for change, a move that effectively makes the whole situation absurd. Also, we find Tracy to be an interesting choice–since it is in fact a “sports” drink, maybe they should’ve made some kind of nod towards athleticism other than stuffing the former Tracy Jordan into a tracksuit.
Still, if the point is that other sports drinks are boring, perhaps they’ve made the right choice. We for one would love to see Tracy Morgan endorse more products now that ’30 Rock’ has wrapped up. Maybe he could film one of those “Drink Responsibly” ads while wearing his Tracy Jordan ankle bracelet? Or join Jane Krakowski in those Tropicana ads. We want a ’30 Rock’ reunion, is what we’re saying.
