An award winning Australian artist Rosemary Valadon has created a very unique collection of paininting which she's presenting at an exibition until May. These painings feature "femme fatales" in a classic film noir movie poster style, but the faces are of prominent Australian women. The models for her paintings included lawyers, journalists, designers, actresses, a crown prosecutor, and 3 staff members of the Sydney's Justice and Police Museum, where the exhibition is being held.
""Wicked Women" is an exciting series of works because it explores the perception of hot-blooded women in an era when women were expected to be more demure and compliant than they are today," said senior crown prosecutor Margaret Cunneen
