Everything from mainstream discos to under-the-sky cocktails can be found at these most extravagant nightclubs across the world. So for those of you who have the cash to splash, check out these hot spots where you can drink right from the bottle, dance like no one’s watching and party till the sun comes up.
XS, Las Vegas. Spread over 40,000 sqft, the Vegas party den includes 30 cabanas that surround a shimmering pool. Adding some shine are gold plated interiors, while the club itself is inspired by the curves of a woman’s body. This Sin City club was voted No 1 in the Nightclub & Bar Top 100 poll for its first full year of operation and was voted No 1 for 2010 and 2012 and No 2 for 2011. This place has been attracting the likes of Sexy Back singer Justin Timberlake and Hilton heiress Paris Hilton.
Movida, London. It is home to what was once the world’s priciest cocktail – the £ 35,000 Flawless. Made of a large measure of Louis XII cognac, half a bottle of Cristal Rose champagne, brown sugar, angostura bitters and a few flakes of 24-carat edible gold leaf, the drink was served along with an 11-carat diamond ring that floated around at the bottom of the glass. Celebs including the Kardashians, Beyonce and Dita von Teese have been spotted here.
LIV, Miami. If you’re looking for a fabulous night out in Miami, head to LIV, the biggest and most lavish nightclub in the city. To get table service here, be willing to spend at least $2,000. The exclusive nightclub was once the party place for the Miami Heat basketball team
Cavalli Club, Dubai. With interiors rumored to have cost $30 million, Cavalli Club is spread over two floors of the Fairmont Hotel and consists of three leopard-print lounges suspended over a vast dance stage. Design highlights include Swarovski crystals chandeliers. This club is a visited by stars including Steven Tyler, Carmen Electra and James Blunt as well as the Middle East’s jet set.
Avenue, New York. When compared to a place like Avenue, most other nightspots in NYC won’t cut it. This 3,100sqft gastro lounge, with 28ft vaulted ceilings, is where you will find the repurposed wine barrel chandeliers that have been specially imported from Belgium. The luxurious finish of oak and ash gives the place a rustic yet urban feel. The celebrity sightings here include football star David Beckham, as well as musicians including Madonna, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Fergie and pretty young faces like Vanessa Hudgens, and Emma Watson.
Pacha, Ibiza. Under the electric sky, with world renowned DJs like David Guetta and Calvin Harris spinning their tunes, this place is a different shade of crazy. One of the first of the Pacha chain nightclubs to open, it celebrates its 40th birthday this year. A maze of stairs, whitewashed doors, secret corridors, courtyards, multiple VIP sections and shinny podiums makes this place look different every night. Stars that love Pacha are the former Swedish House Mafia, P Diddy, Jude Law, Sienna Miller, Kylie Minogue and U2 lead singer Bono.
Premier Lounge, Moscow. This Russian nightclub is pulsating with techno influences. Large screens and lights that flash from a variety of surfaces characterise the place, and there’s no limit to imagination where door barriers turn into three-dimensional portals for visual representations. Celebrities including Vin Diesel, Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, Orlando Bloom, Zinedine Zidane have been spotted here.
