Everyone nowadays has to communicate through email. Here are some simple rules to remember so as to avoid looking like a donkey.

Emoticons should be carefully selected. Not just randomly thrown around.

Always use font smaller than pt. 24. Standard is always pt. 12

Exclamations! Points! Are! Not! Periods!
Use them sparsely

NEVER use all caps.
UNLESS YOU WANT TO INSULT SOME ONE, THEN, GO RIGHT AHEAD.

Incoherent Abbreviations Confuse everyone. Avoid abbreviating.

Too short of a reply is insulting.

Comic sans should never be used.

Don't trap anyone under an email avalanche.

Use line breaks for long emails.

Huge pictures are annoying.

Finish with a strong signature. It's the last thing people see and you want to be remembered.
