Oscar nominee Michael Clarke Duncan, best known for his role in The Green Mile, died Sept. 3 at age 54 from heart problems that started in July.
Frank Pierson, Academy Award winner for best original screenplay for Dog Day Afternoon and who was nominated for two Oscars, died at 87.
