An ex police officer Christopher Dorner has already killed 3 people, and severely wounded one. He's being hunted by L.A.P.D. He has been fired for falsely accusing another officer of using excessive force in 2008, and seems to be after revenge. "The violence of action will be high. I will bring unconventional and asymmetrical warfare to those in LAPD uniform whether on or off duty," Dorner wrote. "The attacks will stop when the department states the truth about my innocence."
He has posted Facebook* threats, addressed to police officers and their families.
Dorner shot a school campus safety officer and his fiancee, the daughter of a retired L.A. police captain Randy Quann, who represented him in the 2008 disciplinary action, which led to Dorners dismissal.
2 officers have already been ambushed by Dorner. One was killed and his partner severely injured.
The search is stretched from San Diego to San Bernardo mountains.
"This is a vendetta against all of Southern California law enforcement and it should be seen as such," Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck told reporters.
