What do a coaster, painter's tape, and a razor have to do with refurbishing a table? Upon initial consideration, nothing. But one guy got a little creative with his at-home remodeling project and made use of these unlikely items.
Instead of using professional tools to create the design on his table, he decided to improvise.
To create the awesome geometric design he envisioned, he used a coaster, a razor, and painter's tape.
The coaster served as a straightedge, and he used the painter's tape to create shapes on the table.
Next, he stained the wood and removed the tape, revealing the awesome patterns.
He then filled in some of the triangles with a pop of color and added a layer of polyurethane.
Here's the finished table.
