Animals have genetic mishaps just like people, and one such case has been discovered in the Mombo area of Botswana‘s Okavango Delta. Maned lionesses have been regularly spotted there since 2002. These maned lionesses look exactly like males therefore making them safer, since other animals are more scared to steal food or attack the pride. This phenomena most likely occurs because the fetus is exposed to higher than normal androgen levels ( male hormones such as testosterone ) during gestation period. The president of the big-cat conservation group Panthera, Luke Hunter believes that there's a possibility of the lion population in that area being genetically predisposed to this phenomena.

One of the behind-the-scenes documentaries included on the discs shows off some behind-the-scenes photos of Tom Hardy as Bane plus some concept art on what Bane almost looked like. Because of his trademark mask, Bane was always going to be a difficult character to adapt into Christopher Nolan’s universe. (Remember how he looked like a Mexican wrestler in ‘Batman and Robin?’) But with all the options they had, it looks like Nolan and crew made the best choice.

New research found that being exposed to PVC (polyvinyl chloride) plastic, commonly known as Vinyl can lead to fat storage predisposition. "The study published in Environmental Health Perspectives, exposed pregnant mice to (TBT) a chemical found in PVC plastic and marine hull paint". This resulted in children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the mice to express fat specific genes, and retain fat in body and liver even though they weren't exposed to PVC. It's not known for sure that people react the same to the chemical yet, but the probabiliy is big. PVC can be found in food packaging, like meat, and cheese wraps, cookie and cereal boxes, candy wrappers, water bottles etc. as well as many boxes for electronics, toys and other devices.
