The chances of getting pregnant with triplets are tiny. In the UK, for example, they’re about 1 in 4,400. So, I guess you could call Maria, 36, of Copenhagen, Denmark, lucky. She and her husband, Anders, already have a boy, but they are set to welcome two daughters and another son later this month. Documenting her pregnancy, Maria has been taking pictures of her body changes and has amassed over 62,000 followers along the way.

The couple got pregnant without the help of in vitro fertilization (IVF) which makes their triplets extremely rare
Maria is documenting the highs and lows of her pregnancy on Instagram* and has already amassed over 62,000 followers
“In the beginning we feared that I would have to be hospitalized or put to bed rest towards the end, so we are very happy that I’ve made it this far without any serious complications”
“This is me most of the day now: TV series, podcasts, sleeping, browsing on my phone, and so on. Mixed in with babies kicking, heart burn and quite a lot of Braxton Hicks contractions”
They’re even swapping their car with a minibus that will be able to fit everyone comfortably
