Every holiday is a good time but when it comes to which holiday is the best I think its clear the answer is St. Patrick's Day. Here are just a few reasons why St. Patty's day is the greatest holiday of them all. Do you agree or Disagree? Whats Your Favorite Holiday?

Based in California, artist Clare Elsaesser has always been creative. She attended art high school and college, but has only worked as a full-time artist for the past two years. Her paintings are a stunning collection of female figures and silhouettes, either turned away from the viewer or hiding their faces behind their hair or within bunches of flowers. These many beautiful moments of quiet and reflective solitude are created with acrylics on watercolor paper or oil paints on wood panels, and later reproduced as Giclée prints.

The Museum of Flight, located a little south of Seattle, owns one of the most extensive collections of historic flight attendant uniforms of US-based airlines, stretching from the 1930s to the 1980s. These vintage uniform and memorabilia is on display at the “Style in the Aisle” exhibit at the Seattle Museum of Flight until May 30, 2011.

Haven’t we all imagined how we might look like when we grow old? There are even a few online tools that will simulate how one might age 20 or 40 years from now. In November 2008, Vogue Paris published an interesting editorial featuring a series of photographs of the 20-years-old model Eniko Mihalik aged over the course of four decades through post-production and make-up artistry. It’s amazing how appearance can be manipulated by photographers and makeup professionals with simple tricks of the trade like hairdo, facial expression, make-up, photography angles, etc. The images were produced by the highly-published photography duo, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

It’s supposed to be the happiest day of a couple's life, when everything goes according to plan. But things clearly went wrong for some newlyweds in the cake department, as shown by these hilarious pictures of wonky creations uploaded onto the Cake Wrecks blog in Orlando, Florida. One of the cakes cannot even stand up, others appear completely lacking in any creativity or artistic craft and another has the words 'I do' stuck on top with an awfully bland design on the cake itself. Other amusing photos show how cake-makers failed when trying to experiment with clashing colours.

Hositalis is a bizarre hospital themed restaurant in Riga, Lativia, where patrons eat amongst operating tables, medical equipment and other hospital related paraphenelia, while waiters dressed as nurses wait on them. On the walls hang x-rays and video screens play medical clips from various popular movies.

Italian photographer Gabriele Galimberti is always traveling the world in search of adventure, good stories, and interesting people. For his latest project entitled “Toy Stories”, Galimberti photographed children from around the world with their most prized possesion. He did not expect to uncover much we did not already know. “At their age, they are pretty all much the same,” is his conclusion after 18 months working on the project. “They just want to play.”

Ballerina is a project by Toronto-based photographer Vanessa Paxton. According to the artist, the series is a "photographic exploration into the simultaneous freedom and solitude of the dancer." Her goal was to create images that feature a rhythm of falling into sleep or waking up from a dream, the feelings of twilight consciousness where nothing exactly makes sense.

Fabian Oefner is a professional photographer specializing in ad, industrial and editorial photography. He lives near Zurich, Switzerland, where he runs a photo studio. On Behance, Oefner is well-known for his high-speed photography projects, tallying nearly 200,000 views on his nine projects shared.

Huanglong is located in the northwest part of Sichuan Province, China, 50 kilometers north-northwest of the capital Chengdu. This scenic area is studded with colorful pools of limestone formations, snow-clad mountains, diverse forest ecosystems, as well as waterfalls and hot springs. The area also has a population of endangered animals, including the giant panda and the Sichuan golden snub-nosed Monkey.

A woman surprised her boyfriend, who had been away on a two-year church mission trip, with a flash mob wedding proposal as he arrived home. Austin Spitler was shocked to see friends and family performing a choreographed dance to Bruno Mars' Marry You as he passed through security at Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma on Monday. He was even more astonished when his his girlfriend, Brittany Jones, got down on one knee, produced an engagement ring box and asked: 'Will you marry me?'

While on a vacation to Paris, most of us end up taking the same pictures of its most famous landmarks, like the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and the Arc de Triomphe. Having lived in Paris for the last four years, art historian Joanna Lemanska sees the city in a whole new light. Though she still frequents those highly photographed sites, she's able to show them in a fresh and unique way. Using her iPhone 4s, a Fujifilm x10 or a Nikon Coolpix, she finds a puddle or a shiny object like mirrors, glass and metal and uses them to shoot incredibly beautiful reflections.

In Milky Way - Breath, artist Mihoko Ogaki takes the mystery of the night sky and combines it with sculptures of the human body. Each figure is formed out of plastic and then embedded with bright LEDs, which shine through thousands of little holes and illuminate the surrounding walls. The results are a bright starry sky, projected outward from the dying figures.

German photographer Martin Rietze caught a series of spectacularly breathtaking shots of a volcano, shrouded in flying lava and electrifying lightning, erupting in southern Kyushu, Japan. Rietze's photography displays Sakurajima Volcano's energetic eruption with unexpected vigor. The images present a phenomenal juxtaposition of a rain of fire and flashes of lightning sparking through a billowing cloud of black smoke.

Have you ever seen a photo move? Two creative artists – a photographer Jamie Beck and a motion graphics designer artist Kevin Burg have created a new way of capturing images – pictures with movement, or so-called cinemagraphs. Actually, this is just a fancy name for an animated GIF, but specially designed with an purposeful artistic goal. Kevin and Jamie describe it as: “Something more than a photo, but less than a video”. However, creating a cinemagraph is not as simple as it may look. Some of them took entire day to make, but the results are breathtaking!

People just love food art, and if you happen to be a struggling artist yourself, this might be a perfect material for your next project. To inspire you even more, we want to show you some wonderfully executed works taken from A Matter of Taste, a book by an award-winning Italian photographer Fulvio Bonavia showcasing his conceptual photos of food as fashion – corn espadrilles, aubergine slippers, and a tagliatelle belt, for example. What’s interesting is that Bonavia begins his artistic and design sensibilities to each every one of his pictures, doing all of the post-production himself so that his photographs are infused with his vision from start to end. A couple of images were taken from his website, but most of them can be found in his book.
