Well, now you can add ‘Writing their own movie scripts’ to the list too. Please welcome to the stage Cleverbot - currently one of the world’s most advanced computers in terms of its ability to hold a conversation with you. But during that time it’s captured, analyzed, adapted and processed over 60 million interactions & conversations with us mere mortals. A lot of us it seems, love talking to a computer. It turns out that when you look at a big enough pool, generally speaking we have similar answers to the same questions. Snake Alley – The Crooked Street
04 mar 2013 10:31
“The world’s most crooked street” is a contested title. While most publications recognize the Lombard Street in San Francisco, California, as the one having the most bends and turns, Ripley's Believe It or Not had once recognized Snake Alley in Burlington, Iowa, as “the Crookedest Street in the World” after Robert L. Ripley saw the street in person in the 1940s. The idea was novel enough, however, San Francisco's Lombard Street beats it by several turns.

Giant Autumn Leaves Viewed from an Ant's Perspective
04 mar 2013 09:35
And The Wind Blows Over You is an installation of giant scattered leaves by Finnish sculptor Kaarina Kaikkonen. Each of the sculptural pieces, made of paper and fiberglass, emulate the earthy colors, veiny texture, and free falling lightness of browned leaves that have ran their course on trees. Naturally withering and breaking free of their branches, each crunchy leaf finds itself floating to the ground where it can offer itself back to the earth as mulch, completing its cycle.

Hamburg, Germany-based artist Moki finds inspiration in Japanese artist Hayao Miyazaki (Spirited Away) as well as in nature. Her acrylic paintings are filled with northern landscapes or as she describes more specifically as "isolated Scandinavian and Icelandic terrain, a subarctic frozen lake continent, untouched caves and moss meadows, and mountains sculpted into anatomical shapes by wind and water." She merges humans with nature, cloaking them in lush green meadows or a flowing river of water.
