Some NY hipsters went back in time with their Hipstamatic iPhones and began to document what life was like in the 70s and 80s New York. Or, maybe, some hipsters were going through old crap to 'find' some art work. These pictures are what they found. I guess any way you tell the story, the bottom line is that the 70s and 80s in New York life was crazy.
You can feel the sense of uneasiness in these pictures, including the ferocity of being on the public transist, even in the black and white photos. I like best that you can sense the analog, print feel, even on your computer screen. Hipstamatic filters sure are getting better :P

I can only hope that it helps for you to know that you are not alone in your grief.” These are the words coming out of Obama's mouth on Sunday as he attended the inter-faith vigil for the loss of 26 children and adults in the massacre on Friday.
