27 Thought-Provoking Illustrations By Rafael Alvarez
Rafael Alvarez is a Spanish illustrator whose works portray painfully familiar scenarios. Except the artist creates his illustrations in a way that highlights a completely different angle. An angle that is usually quite shocking. The ability to shock seems to be a vital component of the artist's illustrations - even required to challenge the minds of content readers whose attention span gets only smaller with each passing day.

These 50 Pics Show How Dystopic Our Society Already Is, And It's Terrifying
What comes to mind when you think of a dystopian universe? is it Dali-esque surrealist landscapes or is it a more realistic world like 'The Handmaidens Tale.' For real-life examples of this theory look no further than the sub-Reddit titled 'A Boring Dystopia,' which is dedicated to sharing images that are disturbingly unassuming.

What’s Wrong With Today’s Society Captured In Brutally Honest Illustrations
It's no secret that our society has its flaws - dependence on technology, taxes, obesity, devaluation of workers - to name a few. Some people may not even want to think about any these problems but illustrator John Holocraft, on the other hand, he looks them straight in the eye and depicts them in a satirical way.

Super Inappropriate Vintage Ads!

Super Inappropriate Vintage Ads!

Did you dream of the day you'll get married and find true happiness by cooking, cleaning and serving your husbands every wish, as a little girl? Or maybe you were always taught that women are secondary citizens because they are definitely more incompetent then men...Yea, I don't think so. Unfortunately back in the day things were drastically different, and these ridiculous, inappropriate ads go to show how much our society has changed. It's kind of surreal looking at these images and knowing that this was accepted at some point.
