A 15 year old Pakistani girl Malala Yousufzai was shot in the head by a Taliban gunman, because she spoke out for young women, and created a blog on which she denounced Taliban for preventing girls from getting educated. While Malala was in the hospital Taliban proclaimed "We do not tolerate people like Malala speaking against us" followed by a vow to go after her again if she survives. She was discharged from the hospital of Birmingham, England yesterday after undergoing multiple surgeries to put her skull together and restore her hearing. Doctors believe that her recovery is a miracle! The brave young girl isn't going to give up on her message despite the obvious dangers. She recently spoke to the camera for the first time since the shooting saying "God has given me this new life. I want to serve the people. I want every girl, every child, to be educated." Wow what an inspiration!

A hacker broke into George W. Bush's sisters computer and revealed some of the 43rd presidents amateur paintings. Not bad, I must say. But why so much focus on the showers scenes?

Some people have a tendency to mess with their possessions such as animals, cars, cellphones, TV's, houses, clothes etc. when they have spare time. Guess slapping some grass on your car is another way of going green?! A simple need for attention perhaps...Or may be they are making fun of earth lovers with this obviously useless combination? What's going on behind something like this?

U.K. supermarkets as well as Burger Kings all over Europe have apparently been selling beef contaminated with horse meat! Some of the dishes exported by a french company, Findus have been found to be 100% horsemeat. such as the beef lasagnes. Comigel, the company which imports frozen beef producs from Fidus, supplies tonns of meals around 15 countries, is now facing a huge fine. People are disgusted, and there is an investigation going on with concerns of criminal activity. Although horse meat isn't bad for health, the fact that it has entered many European foods, including in schools, elderly houses, restaurants and hospitals is outrageous.

A NY Observer critic Rex Reed has insensitively attacked actress Melissa McCarthy in his review of the new movie "Identity Thief", calling her offensive names, focused on her weight. After the review people have called him out on it in an outrage, claiming that he has posted those hateful things in an attempt to get attention. What's your problem Reed?!

Show Biz consists of all kind of people, and not all of them fit into the sexy, glamorous stereotype. There are plenty of talented people who aren't very attractive, and some are actually hideous. Kudos to them anyway, for spicing it up!

Werner Freund, 79, is an ex-paratrooper who for 40 years has hand raised and lived among wolves at his sanctuary in Merzig, Germany. The magnificent creatures, naturally feared by any man, all behave playfully and submissively towards Werner, who has over the years exerted his dominance in the pack. At feeding time, Werner must ensure he continues to feed first and disallows any of the hungry and salivating wolves to come near, in order to maintain the respect of the pack. It is for this reason that they do not attack him and, instead, lick his face and act playfully when they are not feeding.

Robohand is a mechanical prosthetic hand that can be 3D printed at home from designs that are freely available on Thingiverse. The prosthetic is a collaboration between Richard Van As, a South African craftsman who lost four fingers in a work accident, and Ivan Owen, a Washington-based artist who makes mechanical hand sculptures. The duo collaborated over the Internet, meeting in person just once during the development process. The first Robohand was delivered to Liam, a five year old South African with no fingers on his right hand, and as this video shows, it works rather well. A brilliant photo shoot by Stockholm-based photographer Christian Åslund, pays homage to 2D platform video games. Christian gave the series of photos a 2D effect by taking aerial shots of various streets in Hong Kong while, at the same time, displayed a model laying flat on the ground in different active poses. The photos were created as part of an ad campaign for the shoe brand Jim Rickey.
