If you ever seen me, you know that my special talent is funny face making. However, these horses take the cake.
We already know horses are prone to some pretty funny stuff. As luck would have it, this is only one part of their entertaining shenanigans.

Basically, stallions are arguably more entertaining than Honey Boo Boo falling asleep on the Dr. Drew show. But only by a tiny bit. Ladies and gents, we present to you the 11 funniest horses on the Web.

One would think a perk of working at a stress ball warehouse is that you always have something to grab if you’re feeling overwhelmed and need to channel that energy.
Technically speaking, Darren Baldwin was no longer working at novelty company’s SPS’s warehouse in Blackpool, England when he heard some pretty overwhelming news. You see Baldwin had just been fired from his temporary job packing stress balls. But instead of quelling his rapidly ascending stress level by making a fist around one of the squishy instruments, Baldwin just made a fist. Then he punched the manager who had delivered the news in the face.
While one might think that act of cathartic violence would have let the tension out of Baldwin’s system, it wasn’t the case. Next he produced two knives and threatened the other staff members who had tried to intervene. With only stress balls to defend themselves, his former coworkers fled in fear and called the police.
Baldwin was arrested soon after he left warehouse. All in all not a wringing endorsement of the soothing nature of SNS’s product.

This surely makes waiting for the bus a little less boring.
In a recent video, the folks over at Qualcomm decided to make everyone’s day a little brighter by adding in some crazy stuff. In order to do so, the company placed a URL on the side of a local bus stop and waited for the visits to come. And when they did — as they knew they would — the fun began.
What resulted was something both unexpected and quite outlandish. From being picked up by a Lamborghini or a dogsled to a circus exploding out of an upcoming bus, Qualcomm definitely made the day of the people on the receiving end of the hoax quite unique, allowing them to realize that they haven’t seen everything life has to offer.
And by giving everyone a little something unique in their day perhaps we can all begin to see it.

After all the glitz and glamor of the Red Carpet, the agony and ecstasy of the Oscar awards, it’s party time for the stars. Shortly after the last awards were handed out at the 85th Academy Awards celebrities headed off to the various parties where the winners tote around their golden trophies and the losers console themselves with champagne. One of the premier parties is the Governor’s Ball at the Ray Dolby Ballroom not far from Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre. This legendary party is the official ball of Oscar.
Not to be out done is the Vanity Fair magazine post Oscar party, which was the place to catch a glimpse of anyone who’s anyone. The gala, held at the Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angles, started with a seated dinner and as the night progressed the stars arrived.

Fried spider is a regional delicacy in Cambodia. In the Cambodian town of Skuon (Cheung Prey, Kampong Cham Province), the vending of fried spiders as a specialty snack is a popular attraction for tourists passing through this town. The spiders are bred in holes in the ground in villages north of Skuon, or foraged for in nearby forestland, and fried in oil. It is not clear how this practice started, but some have suggested that the population might have started eating spiders out of desperation during the years of Khmer Rouge rule, when food was in short supply.

This building in North Yorkshire, England is situated on the migration routes of wild geese. In cloudy weather, the gray color of the wall blends into the color of the sky with the result that many birds fly beak first into the side of the building. The owner contacted the authorities of the city for assistance and they have appealed to the public for artists who have a good concept for the wall’s design.

Photographer Yao Lu captures images of heaps of garbage covered in green protective netting and digitally manipulates them to look like a beautiful, mountainous expanse inspired by traditional Chinese landscape paintings. Yao's New Landscapes series manages to transform said garbage dumps with a few additions of carefully placed animals, ancient architecture, mist, waterfalls, and foliage. It's only upon close inspection that one actually notices the true nature (or lack thereof) of the landscape—a wide stretch of landfills.

A collection of snaps, mostly taken on the highways of China and published by China Foto Press, reveal drivers who load up their vehicles far beyond their limits as they go about their daily business. These pictures show ridiculously heavy trucks, bikes and tractors with goods piled up to 20 feet above their heads, leaning at unusual angles under the load.

In the Kalahari Desert, South Africa, a native bird called the Sociable Weaver Bird constructs massive nests that, from a distance, looks like a giant haystack that's fallen into a tree. The foundation of these nests are often trees or a utility pole such as the ones that carry telephone wires. Over these the birds create a frame with larger sticks and then build walls from dry grasses to form individual rooms, and line each chamber of the nest with softer grasses and fibers. Sharp spikes of straw protect the entrance tunnels from predators. These nests are the largest built by any bird, and are large enough to house over a hundred pairs of birds. Some sociable weaver nests have remained occupied for several generations spanning over 100 years.

Australian artist Emma Van Leest turns a simple sheet of paper into a magical visual story. She hand-cuts intricate patterns into large sheets, and then mounts them with glue onto foamcore. Several layers set against a vibrant, colorful backdrop form Van Leest's three-dimensional scenes, which reference children's stories, folk art, Medieval saints, and Hindu literature.
