Single topic blog Animals Riding Animals features exactly what you'd expect: animals riding other animals. The hilarious and at times adorable Tumblr blog includes all members of the animal kingdom, from your basic house cat and dog to barnyard animals and exotic wildlife. The blog first launched in December 2010, but it has only in the last two months been especially fruitful with image after image of entertaining animal combinations. There are even a few gifs thrown in to show the feathered, furry, aquatic, reptilian, and amphibious creatures giving each other a ride.

I would NOT want to be in the way of these Bengal white tigers when they are hungry! Australia-based photographer Birte Person wasn't quite as afraid. With the safety of distance, she was brave enough to capture these stunning shots of the rare animals during feeding time at the Singapore Zoo. The almost extinct white tiger is caused by a rare genetic recessive gene within the Bengal tiger species. The gene produces features including white fur, black stripes, and a pink nose. The few white tigers that still survive are in protective captivity although there have been reports of a handful spotted in the wild.

Gwen Maxwell of Sun City West, Arizona, found a coyote puppy that suffered after an almost deadly encounter with a cholla cactus. People could save the animal.

Many people have weird rat phobias, or think that rats are dirty, aggressive or useless. Well drop all of your preconceptions, because rats are truly amazing little animals that make awesome pets. And here are all, hard to argue with, reasons!

A moose decided it wanted to join the party when it took a dip in a private swimming pool at a holiday villa. The group of holidaymakers were shocked when they spotted the beast swimming a few lengths of the pool in Redmond, Washington, before relaxing in the shallow end. The creature looked like it was having a whale of a time as the party panicked about how it was going to get out of the pool and more importantly, if they would have the poolside to themselves again.

San Francisco-based science illustrator Jenny Parks has creatively illustrated an adorable clowder of cats as comic book superheroes, villains and the zombie hunting badass Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead. Check out these hilarious illustrations.

"The photos have been written about in magazines from India to Russia and Brazil," he tells us. Blending in with the environment is the most common approach.

Pallas's cat, also called the manul, is a small wild cat having a broad but patchy distribution in the grasslands and montane steppe of Central Asia. The species is negatively affected by habitat degradation, prey base decline, and hunting, and has therefore been classified as Near Threatened by IUCN since 2002.

Many species are experts at mimicry and camouflaging with their surroundings in order to remain undisturbed or unseen by predators or their prey. The common potoo, without a doubt, is one of the most talented players of “hide and seek.”
