Helpful Video Shows You How to Get Any Girl’s Phone Number
15 mar 2013 13:57
You decide: are the guys in this video funny, gutsy or just plain weird, creepy and jerk-ish? In the pursuit of a girl’s number guys tend to find themselves at a loss for words. It’s a mere five-word question: can I get your number? However, for some reason we tend to face an unimaginable dry mouth when it comes time to speaking to members of the opposite sex. But apparently, these three dudes have figured out a way to get around the rejection… and the actual question. We’re curious if a date transpired afterwards. Surely these girls couldn’t resist going out with a guy wearing sweats in the middle of the day, another wearing a backwards American flag cap and another who’s hair proves to be more flowing than most of the girls he hits on. What a “meet-cute”! Or is it a (“meet-creep”?)

It’s easy in all the excitement of parades to lose sight of what’s important on St. Patrick’s Day (drinking and cabbage) and get lost in the madness of trying to be the tackiest person at O’Malley’s Pub. If you’re not sure whether or not this is you, consult this list. If you already own or are planning on buying any of these handmade items, we regretfully inform you that you have lost control. Kids Around The World Photographed With Their Favorite Toys
15 mar 2013 13:18
Italian travel photographer Gabriele Galimberti is rarely in the same place for any amount of time, he’s too busy traversing the 4 corners of the globe in an effort to hunt out those untold stories and share his experiences with the world. Take for example his most recent photographic series titled ‘Toy Stories‘, whereby he visited countries such as Thailand, Italy, Latvia and even the likes of China and Zambia with a sole purpose – to photograph children with their most prized possessions (a vastly different project than this) “At the beginning in the rich and more developed countries, they wouldn’t want me to touch their toys, and I would need more time before they would let me play with them. But in poor countries, it was much easier. Even if they only had two or three toys, they didn’t really care.” His adventure took 18 months, countless long-haul flights, numerous locations and a involve a lot a stack of fun. Below are just a few samples of his wonderful & insightful work that we think really captures the spirit of his subjects. It does make you wonder, if he photographed you as a child, what toys would you have had on display?

The first time she went to Burma, she says, "I remember being struck by the meditative beauty of the landscape, the sensory chaos of the cities, and the quiet elegance of the people." After the atomic bombing of Hiroshima on 6th August 1945, with landscapes demolished, soils charred and radiation rampant, Dr. Harold Jacobsen, a scientist from the Manhattan Project, told the Washington Post that Hiroshima will be barren of life and nothing will grow for 75 years. Russia in Color, More Than Century Ago

Extraordinary collection of color photographs taken between 1909 and 1912. In those years, photographer Sergei Mikhailovich Prokudin-Gorskii (1863-1944) undertook a photographic survey of the Russian Empire with the support of Tsar Nicholas II. He used a specialized camera to capture three black and white images in fairly quick succession, using red, green and blue filters, allowing them to later be recombined and projected with filtered lanterns to show near true color images. The high quality of the images, combined with the bright colors, make it difficult for viewers to believe that they are looking more than 100 years back in time.
