Passionate underwater dancing is making its way to modern photography via Russian artist Katerina Bodrunova.
The 27-year-old self taught photographer captures perfectly composed moments in an incredibly difficult setting. In doing so, she creates new realities for her viewers and she says, "Sometimes we change the space around us to fit our ideas and sometimes space, place, or time dictates their rules. We can fight or we can embrace, the choice is ours."
At first I thought this was photoshopped, nope. This is the work of the comic-book-heroine-named Gunilla Klinberg, who built this sand pattern machine out of old truck tires. Why she chose to do this instead of creating thousands of huge sea monster footprints to scare off tourists, we'll never know. She named this art installation "The sign in space". Check it out
Look at this street performer that creates amazing living art in Los Angeles. In this pictures what seems to be a sculpture at first is a man who wears a suit made of mirrors from head to toe. Amazing!
This giant snake sculpture, nearly 1,000 feet in length and made of 850 lanterns, was installed in Singapore’s Chinatown for Chinese New Year. The big orange fellow bopped up in the air, giving 2013 a new look on the Chinese snake. What year were you born?
A sculpture in the shape of giant skeleton shows itself opposite to the cathedral of Milan, Italy. The work, of 28 meters of length and 8 tons of weight it is a work of the Italian sculptor Gino De Dominicis, who realized a few months before his death. With this sculpture and the Duomo in the back you can feel in the middle of the scary movie. I know that the art makes your feelings higher but in this case is a big size strange sensation.
“Calamidad Cósmica” (“Cosmic Calamity”) was a 2011 installation of giant popsicle ice sculptures that were allowed slowly melt in front of viewers. The installation was created by Argentinian artist Luciana Randolini. Perfect for a hot summer's day. Who's ready for the sun to start warming us up to a nice toasty tan?!
There's a lot of summer festivals planned for 2013. What are you wearing?
With the last few summers scorching away at our skin, it may just be time for something new, something thin, something small but not obviously a swimsuit... so how about denim undies?! NObody will know it's underwear, right? ;)

Portland photographer Jim Golden created these photos of neatly arranged collections of objects. Most of the objects he photographs are vintage, and in some cases, the photos represent one person’s private collection. For prints, check out Golden’s online store and for more of his photography, see his Tumblr. We previously wrote about Golden’s photo of a huge collection of photographic gear
Some artists begin creating masterpieces purely by accident or as an unintended outcome of something else, but Hong Kong born artist Marc Allante has been dedicated ever since he was 2 years old. Seeing how popular his recent lion painting was, the artist decided to show the 25 years it took to get there. Starting with the portraits of his grandma (“oma”) and grandpa (“opa”), the stream ends with a fascinating colorful lion, drawn at the age of 25. Marc’s work today is a modernist fusion of Eastern and Western art traditions, as the guy has lived in Sydney and London as well, and is of French and Chinese ancestry. He mostly uses colorful dripping wet ink and combines it with minimalistic black silhouettes. Curiously, Martin never attended any art school and is completely self-taught. Seeing his dedication since he was a toddler, why would you need a teacher?
