Supervillain Selena Gomez Made Bieber’s Worst Birthday Even Worse-er
06 mar 2013 12:37
As you’ve most likely heard by now, Justin Bieber had the “worst birthday.” Except, you know, he didn’t. But it turns out his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez might have made that birthday suck even more when he texted her in the hopes she’d cheer him up and she completely refused to respond. Then she stroked the fluffy white cat on her lap and launched a rocket into the moon while yelling “TAKE THAT TIDES!” Because she’s just that hypothetically evil. “Justin texted Selena about how depressed he was about his birthday party being a disaster, but she just ignored him,” said a HollywoodLife source who allegedly knows all about Selena’s intimate texting (or rather, non-texting) habits. “She’s been laughing about his ridiculous outfits and thinks he’s just being needy. She’s moving on and having fun with all of her friends and family — she doesn’t have time for him.”

Drake makes it rain in the strip club, but why…
06 mar 2013 12:09
Drake recently went into a Charlotte strip club and made it rain to the tune of $50,000. Drake and his friends don’t appear to be getting anything for their money at first sight, HOWEVER, TMZ is hinting that Drake might have a reason after all. Allegedly, TMZ reports that in fact these substantial sums of money thrown around a strip club could actually be deductible on their taxes. “These expenses could be deducted if they are “reasonable … and are directly related to [the rapper's] business.” Funny thing … a lot of rappers say making it rain is something they have to do to build their image so people will buy their records, so as crazy as it sounds, they may have a leg to stand on.” So is Drake brilliant, or just being a reckless douchebag? I’ll let you decide

Multifaceted creative Clément Beauvais uses his talents as both an artist and a director to present an original new media campaign titled Water & Ink for Solidarités International, a humanitarian NGO dedicated to aiding victims of war or natural disasters. For this specific campaign, created in collaboration with ad agency BDDP Unlimited, Beauvais tackles the subject of unsafe water by using only water and ink to visually exemplify the campaign's message: despite water's colorless and orderless nature, it is a leading silent killer in the world due to people's inaccessibility to clean drinking water.

Uplifting Posters Show One Positive Thing We Can Do Every Day
06 mar 2013 08:17
Every year, the Art Directors Club of Denver recognizes the incredible achievements of a handful of highly talented students in an annual awards show. At their recently wrapped one, the winner for Integrated Campaign was communication design student Buddy Bravo from the Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design. His series of five posters are not only beautifully designed, with that art deco/retro twist, they're wonderfully inspiring, as well. Though we couldn't find too much about Buddy Bravo, we learned that his favorite quote is from the 1927 sci-fi film Metropolis: "There can be no understanding between the hand and the brain unless the heart acts as mediator."

Pinnacles Desert in Nambung National Park, Australia
06 mar 2013 07:24
Located not far from the coast of southwest Australia are thousands of limestone pillars that rise from the shifting yellow sands. In places they reach up to three and a half meters tall. Some are jagged, sharp-edged columns, rising to a point, while others resemble tombstones. This is the Pinnacles Desert, a part of the Nambung National Park, roughly 200 kilometres north of Perth. These amazing natural limestone structures were formed approximately 25,000 to 30,000 years ago, after the sea receded and left deposits of sea shells. Over time, coastal winds removed the surrounding sand, leaving the pillars exposed to the elements.
