The passing of time is a fascinating concept which happens all around us, at every single moment of every single day. French photographer Laurent Dequick decided to capture these fleeting seconds in a series of photographs entitled Vibrations Urbaines. The suspended light fixture is comprised of 15,000 feet of fiber optic cables connecting a variety of petri dishes. Its modular composition includes hundreds of metal rods, couplings, caps, and canisters, allowing its owner to construct a unique structure with an infinite number of combinations.
Located in the ski resort and mountaineering village of Zermatt, this beautiful multi-level penthouse was designed by local architect and artist Heinz Julen. The penthouse chalet features large picture windows and glass panels in the roof, bathing the apartment in natural light. The chairs and chandelier were also designed and built by Julen.

Sometimes aquarists take themselves way too seriously, so every once in a while it does some good to inject a bit of humor, or at least something to distract us from the hustle and bustle of tank maintenance and aquarium related headaches. So, when we stumbled across this very funny and very creative series of underwater miniatures, we knew we had to share. After spending a great deal of time photography nudibranchs in the Pacific, Jason Isley of Scubazoo decided it was time to mix things up. He took miniature figurines and placed them in the scene with various marine animals, resulting in some fun and interesting imagery.
