Yes, that is a giant castle made completely out of stacked cards. I really do wonder how many times the darned thing had to fall apart before it got to this size. 

Bryan Berg used 218,792 cards (that's 4,051 decks) to create a replica of the Venetian Macau, which is on display in its namesake luxury hotel and casino. The entire ordeal took 44 days to complete. 

What should real men smell like? I imagine something like wood or some kind of musky cigarette and whiskey smell, but bacon? Apparently somebody out there thinks that the smell of bacon is pretty sexy, because these soaps come in a variety of foody smells, good enough for any carnivorous woman.

UK-based graphic designer and digital artist Ben Fearnley creates artwork in all kinds of forms, including flat illustrations as well as three-dimensional digital art. In this series of posters, the artist has turned inspirational quotes into clean and well-designed typography. Using monochromatic black and white, he gives new and visual significance to these already classic phrases.

The passing of time is a fascinating concept which happens all around us, at every single moment of every single day. French photographer Laurent Dequick decided to capture these fleeting seconds in a series of photographs entitled Vibrations Urbaines. Each image is a collective sequence of multiple photographs, superimposed together to visually reflect the chaos and congestion of large urban areas.

Normally, you wouldn't want to think about germs when you sit down to a meal, but design studio MADLAB brings bacteria right over the dining table with their Bacterioptica chandelier. The suspended light fixture is comprised of 15,000 feet of fiber optic cables connecting a variety of petri dishes. Its modular composition includes hundreds of metal rods, couplings, caps, and canisters, allowing its owner to construct a unique structure with an infinite number of combinations.

Located in the ski resort and mountaineering village of Zermatt, this beautiful multi-level penthouse was designed by local architect and artist Heinz Julen. The penthouse chalet features large picture windows and glass panels in the roof, bathing the apartment in natural light. The chairs and chandelier were also designed and built by Julen.

The Netherlands is world-famous for their tulip fields. Every year from March to May the Dutch countryside transforms into a sea of colour. According to Nat Geo, the first tulip was planted in Dutch soil in 1593, and it has become a national symbol ever since.

Nikolai Aldunin is the master of miniature sculptures – his sculptures are so small, that the artist needs to use a microscope throughout the process. For example, he have managed to engrave a portrait of Leo Tolstoy on a grain of rice, create a replica of a Russian samovar smaller than a sugar grain, make the famous “Kalashnikov” that fits on the head of a match, and many others.

Sometimes aquarists take themselves way too seriously, so every once in a while it does some good to inject a bit of humor, or at least something to distract us from the hustle and bustle of tank maintenance and aquarium related headaches. So, when we stumbled across this very funny and very creative series of underwater miniatures, we knew we had to share. After spending a great deal of time photography nudibranchs in the Pacific, Jason Isley of Scubazoo decided it was time to mix things up. He took miniature figurines and placed them in the scene with various marine animals, resulting in some fun and interesting imagery.
