Slaughterhouse Starlets is an illustrated series by designer Keith P. Rein. The illustrator's set of images, of which there are only six so far, feature a violent version of some of today's leading ladies; including Emma Stone, Zooey Deschanel and Emma Watson. Each femme fatale is equipped with a different deadly weapon and it looks like they've already taken the liberty of using them as each frame appears to be splattered with bloodstains. From wielding a hatchet and toting a battle axe to revving up a chainsaw and getting hands on with a pair of brass knuckles, these ladies are prepared for a zombie apocalypse and ready to fend for themselves.

britney spears, sexy, black dress
25 feb 2013 09:01

She might have worn a plunging neckline but attention was firmly focusing on Britney Spears' new darker locks as she arrived at the Elton John AIDS foundation Oscar party on Sunday night. The 31-year-old singer debuted her new hair colour, a glossy chocolate brown hue, as she posed up on the red carpet at the star-studded event. Britney's hair even drew attention away from the low cut of her glittering black Michael Cinco Couture dress, a floor-length number that was slashed almost to the navel.

Artist Shows his Progression from 2 Years old to 25
25 feb 2013 08:35

Some artists begin creating masterpieces purely by accident or as an unintended outcome of something else, but Hong Kong born artist Marc Allante has been dedicated ever since he was 2 years old. Seeing how popular his recent lion painting was, the artist decided to show the 25 years it took to get there. Starting with the portraits of his grandma (“oma”) and grandpa (“opa”), the stream ends with a fascinating colorful lion, drawn at the age of 25. Marc’s work today is a modernist fusion of Eastern and Western art traditions, as the guy has lived in Sydney and London as well, and is of French and Chinese ancestry. He mostly uses colorful dripping wet ink and combines it with minimalistic black silhouettes. Curiously, Martin never attended any art school and is completely self-taught. Seeing his dedication since he was a toddler, why would you need a teacher?

Each frame of the German photographer's series titled Frost depicts a bewitching scene populated with trees whose wispy branches are either barren and cutting through the hazy atmosphere or lushly powered in white. In either case, the empty expanse, filled only with the mystifying ambience of nature, sets the scene for mystery and intrigue.

Running of The Bulls
25 feb 2013 07:00

Every year in Spain there is  aworld famous activity in which many Spanish men and tourists take place. Bulls are released down a long and windy street and men run away from them. Each year many men end up with broken bones from being trampled or missing teeth from getting jammed against a building. Sometimes people die!

Anyone above the age of the age of 18 can participate in "encierro." The origin of this event comes from the need to transport the bulls from the off-site  corrals where they had spent the night, to the bullring where they would be killed in the evening. Youngsters would jump among them to show off their bravado.

Spanish tradition says the true origin of the run began in northeastern Spain during the early 14th century. While transporting cattle in order to sell them at the market, men would try to speed the process by hurrying their cattle using tactics of fear and excitement.
